Abstract
The life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) divided into two periods: Makki and Madni. Likely, there are two specific divisions found in Tafaseer and Hadith books: Makki era and Madni era. Generally it is understood that they are two separate eras, which are completely different from each other. Even this delusion is found about Quranic Verses which are divided as Makki and Madni Verses and Surahs. From this aspect orientalist objected Islam too. But the fact is that the rules of Islam come according to the conditions of whom Islam spoke to or according to the circumstances and situations at the time of Revelation. So there is the consistency in the revelations, whether they are revealed in Makkah or Madina. But the strong link between these two eras is that the Ahkam, which are revealed in Makkah, are principles and Madani Ahkams are the interpretation of them. It has been proved in this article that Islam is the completion of Deen e Hanif and there is a consistency between Makki and Madni era. The division of Makki and Madni era in history is just to describe the specific background of revealed verses and Ahkam.
