Idolistic ideas regarding attributes of God and Islam's concept of Pure Oneness: a Comparative Study
تلخیص
Undoubtedly the basic monotheistic message received by man was directly from the Creator of the universe. By the passage of time innovations introduced mostly by the religious clergy put a curtain on the basic characteristics regarding the Creator. Contamination and exaggeration was the net result. Even in Judaism and Christianity the ideas about God and its attributes did not remain pure and purple resulting in worship of images and icons. This resulted in formation of a religious pantheon that promoted unfair ideas and ideologies about God and nurtured idolatry almost in all religions. It is Islam's primary achievement that it, through divine revelation, restored the true attributes of the Creator and asserted Allah's utter uniqueness over any form of polytheism and false attributes. Thus Islam stands as a resolute voice of unqualified monotheism and announces unshakeable belief in the oneness and uniqueness of Allah- Allah who is simple yet rich in attributes.
