Abstract
This short work brings to life, along with a brief introduction, an exciting find—a rare and generally unknown work of Sa`āat Hasan Manto. This is his English to Urdu translation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s thriller The Brown Hand. 2012 is Manto’s centennial year.
