Scholarly and Comparative Analysis of the Opinion of Allama Taftazaani and Allama Jurjaani regarding kinds of Mind
Abstract
The great industry within the nature is itself the proof of the presence of God. The
cause of structure and function of a material thing starting from a tiny particle to a
massive huge body in this universe is Allah almighty. So the beautiful bodies available in
this world are not creations of its own but due to Allah almighty who is the sole creator of
all of them.
There is a huge list of the number of the creations of Allah almighty in this world
but mankind is the most perfect creation among them that is why he has been declared as
noble among the creations المخلوقات اشرف .At the same time, Allah almighty has bestowed
them with the qualities of knowledge and identification.
On one side, if humans have been bestowed with five senses like sense of smell,
sense of taste, sense of hearing, sense of touch and sense of sight, at the same time the
humans cannot compete with other animals in these senses because if we compare the eye
sight of an eagle and crow with the eye sight of humans, we can easily understand that
these birds are more competent in this sense as compared to humans. Ants have much
more precise and accurate sense of smell as compared to humans and monkeys have
fantastic sense of hearing in comparison with humans.
It means that by appearance, humans are less competent to animals in the above
mentioned senses but on the other hand, humans have been gifted with super qualities of
instinct, thinking, force of decision etc. so we can easily understand that these qualities in
humans totally supersedes all the qualities of animals in which they show high level of
competency. These are the qualities which compensate all the demerits of humans.
It is very interesting to see that due to ultra-modern frame of mind, humans can
easily capture all types of highest flying and fast running birds and animals. All the huge
organisms have been dominated by humans due to advanced frame of minds.
Humans have touched the climax of civilizations, arts and literature, science and
technology due to these meaningful capabilities.
This the reason that only the humans can recognize their creator using this quality
which no one in the creatures have, and thus he bows his head before his lord who has
given him the highest status among all the creatures. This meaningful force is called mind
or sense of thinking. Although the parameters of human mind can be these surrounding
material things but making these material things the base for thinking, he can approach to
his God because at the end he can conclude that all these material bodies in the whole
universe are the manifestations of God on this earth.
