Abstract
The Paper constitutes an analytical study of the methodology used by Ghulām Ahmad Pervaiz in his interpretation and explanation of Qur’ānic Terms. The lexique technique built up by Pervaiz to explain Qur’ānic terminologies is the same that adopted by his predecessor scholars (among Ahl-al-Qur’ān). Pervaiz invented a method of lexical citation by outlining his own principles of exegesis on the basis of which he ascribed new meaning to generally understood terminologies and verses of Holy Qur’ān under the veneer of either contextualized or metaphorical interpretation. The lexicon was a central component of Pervaiz’s Qur’ānic literature and served as principles of its interpretation as well as deals with analytical study of methodology of Pervaiz used in interpretation of Qur’ānic Terminologies
