Abstract
Ghalib is universally known for his Ghazal. However as a great poet
he also composed other forms of poetry. His Qaseedas are unique and also
his Mersias. But very little was known about his "Masnawis". Now in this
article Dr. Samina Nadeem has carried out a detail study of Ghalibs
Masnawis. She has anaylised in detail and has concluded that Ghalib was
also versatile and competent poet in the field of Masnawis as well. She has
pointed out that Ghalibs Musnawis specific and relevant to his time.
