Abstract
The dream of reconstruction of society can not be fruitful until and
unless there starts intellectual unity of society. It is the primary duty of
literature. If we review our history, we'll come to this pleasant conclusion
that mega change in society through literature rests on matchless
contribution of mystics/ Sufias in literature. This is the literature which
accommodates no geographical boundaries, territories or countries. This
communicates single message of love harmony and patience which panes
its way to hearts and eventually it perpetuates in hearts permanently and
continues its voyage from hearts to hearts. Our sufi- poets, aparts from their
language and geographical attachments entrusted inspiration and intuition
through their mystical- poetry. As a result, it gave birth to intellectual unity.
Shah Abdul Latif Bhatai, Mian Muhammad Bukhsh, Khawaja Ghulam
Farid, Rehman Baba, Jam Virk, Noor-ud-Din Wali and so to say all spiritual
protagonists and mystical poets kept on playing their positive role in this
regard.
