Humour and Satire in Saraiki light Essay
Abstract
"The tradition of poetic categories is very old in Siraiki
language. Whereas the category of prose in subjective
part is a category in which a proper book was published
in 1984. Before this publication many other categories in
literature had been published in the different Siraiki books
as well in magazines and articles. About two dozen of
Siraiki writers have been doing their efforts in writing
Siraiki prose. Their satirical style has pointed out the
social issues very stylistically and artfully. Their pieces of
writings show the use of proverbs, idiomatic structures in
spoken language as well. The wise thoughtfulness of the
Siraiki writers is quite unique and stylish which is the
essence in Siraiki prose. This article presents the certain
manifest ornamentation of the Siraiki prose writers.
