Structural impact of modern poem on urdu ghazal

Abstract

The Structural Effects of Modern Poem on Urdu Ghazal There are different shapes of Urdu Poem. However, free verse has more importance in Modern Poem. Due to this, Urdu Poem has experienced contextual broadness. The Modern Urdu poem has digested new thoughts and ideas more vigorously. The modern Urdu poem has levelled off the new experiences in Urdu Ghazal. It is believed that Azad Ghazal, Mukalmati Ghazal, Ghazal-iMusalsal, Nasri Ghazal, Taidi Ghazal, Anti Ghazal and Zain Ghazal etc. came into existance. In this research paper, focus has been made on the structural effects of Modern poem on Urdu Ghazal. It has been concluded that Modern Urdu poem has broadened the scope of Urdu Ghazal while new experiences of Modern Urdu Poem are significant for the betterment of Modern Urdu Ghazal. It has been reflected that Modern Urdu Poem is brining a structural hegmony in the procedural scope of Modern Urdu Ghazal
