Political sensibility in GAWAHI
Abstract
The political history of Pakistan has resulted in exploitation,
Panic, political cruelties, injustices etc due to Martial Laws during
differet time.In the result of Martial Law on 5th July 1977 by ZiaUl -Haq there was a great reaction by Urdu writers. At that time in
the core of modernism the first literary collection '' Gawai ''
published. This collection shows Martial Law , cruelties of class
system,and reaction against such social and political system in
its complete sense. These writers presented it in symbolic form.
This collection included the fictions of fourteen writers, which
described the real picture of society of that time. This article
describes these fiction with their political awareness, political
injustices, Martial Law and tries to clear the political history in a
clear way
