Prophetic Guidance in the social issues with the people of the books (Jews and Christians)

Abstract
Islam is the religion which is spreading rapidly all over the world. It has become a universal religion and its boundaries are expending to the people of all types of ethnics and cultural background. Allah almighty has revealed the Holy Quran to his Prophet Muhammad () for the guidance of whole mankind. The Holy Quran exists as it was revealed to the Holy Prophet () and this book has no undergone any change since it was revealed. Quran hints about Christians and Jesus as “People of the book”, means the People who have received the revelation from Allah Almighty through his Prophets. A complete understanding only can be achieved by understanding the whole issues as presented all over the verses and chapters and not by looking at only part of the Quran. To understand the issues regarding the Jews, Christians one should study all the verses related to the concern issues discussed in the Quran collectively. As Islam began to grow and spread throughout Arabia. Prophet Muhammad () met with many Christian communities and Jewish tribes to spread Islam, but never force them to convert to Islam. When Prophet Muhammad () arrived to Madinah, he established relations of Muslims with Jewish. Neither the Prophet not the companions killed a Jew without a sin. The Prophet recognized the right of Jews to own anything they wanted and didn’t try to confiscate their property and ensured the protection of Jews and both Jews and Muslims co-operated with each other against foreign invaders. In the Current Era, Muslims, Christians and Jews can serve the world for the grater cause of peace and prosperity by focusing on their commonalities
