Abstract
Objective: The objective of this study is to present updated rend , gaps and focus areas of e-learning in the field of Continuing Medical Education (CME) as reported in the literature. A total of 59 journal paper published between 2603 and l[June] 2013 were reviewed from selected databases. The result show that there is a growing trend of using e-learning for/ ICME. The e-learning interventions range from using online/wep-baied training modules to mobile learning using a wide range of tools and technologies, which include learning management systems, smart mobile applications, video imaging, Virtual patients and video conferencing.
