Abstract
The aim of the study was to investigate the perception of the teachers regarding use of suitable
method of teaching English at secondary level. The sample was consisted of male and female
schools of Layyah district. By using cluster sampling technique, a sample of one hundred and
twenty seven teachers was selected. The questionnaire was administered personally by the
researchers. To reach certain conclusion, arithmetic mean, percentage and z-test were
calculated to analyze the perception of teachers regarding suitable teaching method. Data were
analyzed statement-wise, percentage-wise and mean performance-wise.
